A mascot, the care-card system and social templates
Mossy sends a new houseplant every month. Five months on One Twist gave it a mascot people ask about, a care card for every plant and social templates the team fills in themselves.

What they asked for
Mossy ships one houseplant a month with a printed card explaining how to keep it alive. The plants were great, but the brand was a stock leaf icon, and the cards were a different design every month.
Tomás Reyes, Mossy’s founder, wanted “something people would take a photo of when they open the box.”
What we made
Mossy, a mascot: a pot with a leafy head, drawn in eight poses with rules for using it.
A care-card system: one layout, three care icons and a color for each plant family. We made 24 cards.
An unboxing insert and a sticker sheet.
Twelve social templates in Canva, built from the same system.
How the subscription ran
One Twist for five months. Hana designed the mascot and Sami built the card system. The mascot took the longest: the first two requests were rough sketches in a Slack thread, then a vote with Mossy’s subscribers. After that, each month’s card came in as one request.
Where it landed
Mossy now appears in every box and on most of Mossy’s social posts. Tomás’s team fills in the Canva templates themselves, and the care cards follow the system without us.

“People post the mascot more than the plants. We’re fine with that.”
