In short
We collect what we need to book calls, run your subscription and bill you, and nothing more. We don’t sell your information or use ad trackers. You can ask us to see or delete your data at any time.
Who this covers
This policy explains how Twist Studio LLC (“Twist”, “we”) handles personal information when you visit this website, book a call or subscribe. If something isn’t clear, email hi@twist.studio.
What we collect
When you book a call: your name, email, company, the time you pick and anything you write in the booking questions. Booking runs on Cal.com.
When you subscribe: your name, work email, company name and billing details. Card details are handled by Stripe, and we never see your full card number.
While we work together: the messages, files and feedback you share in Slack and by email.
When you visit the site: privacy-friendly analytics from Plausible, such as pages viewed, the referring site, approximate country and device type. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you.
Your theme choice: if you switch between light and dark, your browser remembers the choice so the site looks the same next time. This is stored only in your browser and never sent to us.
How we use it
To hold the call you booked and send reminders.
To run your subscription: receive requests, deliver work and talk to your team.
To bill you and keep the financial records the law requires.
To reply to your messages.
To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
We don’t sell your information, rent it or use it for advertising. We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of providers to run the studio. Each one only gets what it needs:
Cal.com for booking
Slack for requests
Stripe for billing
Google Workspace for email and files
Plausible for analytics
Framer for hosting this website
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Booking details: 12 months after the call if you don’t subscribe.
Subscription records: as long as you’re a client, plus the time tax law requires for invoices (usually seven years).
Slack and project files: deleted 12 months after your subscription ends, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct, export or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hi@twist.studio. We’ll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including California and the EU or UK, you may have further rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Security
We use two-factor sign-in on every tool that holds client information, and limit access to the people working on your requests. No system is perfectly secure, but we’ll tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects your data.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change, and we’ll tell active subscribers in Slack about anything significant.
